For the next three months, you can donate to The Florida Center for Early Childhood simply by shopping with a reusable bag at Lucky’s Market in Sarasota!

The Florida Center was selected as one of the recipients of the grocer’s Bags for Change campaign, a quarterly donation drive that benefits local non-profits. From February 3 through May 25, customers will receive a wooden dime for every reusable bag they bring shopping.  They will then be given the opportunity to donate their dimes towards one of the featured nonprofits. At the end of the quarter, Lucky’s counts up all the dimes donated to each nonprofit, doubles the amount and donates the equivalent funds to the charities.

The more people that bring in reusable bags and choose to donate to The Florida Center, the more funding we will receive!

Supporters like you voted for The Florida Center to become a recipient via an online poll that Lucky’s posted at the beginning of January.  Thank you to all the voters for providing us with this opportunity!
