How the Coronavirus is impacting our services
Staff Report
Like much of the rest of the world, The Florida Center for Early Childhood is navigating obstacles associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
As you may know, government officials and health experts are now recommending that events of 50 people or more be suspended in order to prevent the spread of the virus. Due to health concerns, the following events have been postponed.
- Fifth Annual Champions for Children Breakfast, which was scheduled to take place on April 2 at the Sarasota Yacht Club, will be postponed. The Florida Center will keep participants and sponsors informed of a new date as it continues to receive guidance from experts. Call (941) 371- 8820 x 1025 for more information.
- Help I’m Turning into My Mother, which was to be held at The Florida Center but hosted by the organization When She Happens, has been postponed. For information on updates and rescheduling, visit whenshehappens.com
For Parents:
Starfish Academy will be closed until April 20. Please monitor Brightwheel for more updates.
How to Help: The Florida Center’s important role in the community will continue through a variety of innovative approaches. However, it needs your support to remain open! Just a small donation can help The Florida Center continue community services safely. Thanks for your understanding.
